After escaping the prison, discovering that the conversations with his father were his imagination (probably mostly, he thinks) and a long flight home, Harm is resting in his bed, like he has been for the last week. The drugs in his system needed time to wear off and the Admiral forbade him from showing up at work until the following Monday. For once, Harm didn't argue.
July 1996
Vacation scuttled for War Games mission - case. We'll leave that one behind. It was messy.
August 1996
Ever been arrested for murdering your girlfriend? Yeah, me neither - until now. I'm just glad they didn't have enough evidence...

Harm woke up around 0600 and really wanted to go back to sleep, but the Admiral would kick his six if he missed this. Medal ceremony at the White House. Actually, he'd kick his own six if he missed this.

Serious deja vu this afternoon. A new lawyer here is a Marine named Sarah MacKenzie, but I swear she looks just like Diane. Just like her. It distracted me all day.

"Rabb, ready for the trial?" the Admiral asks as he passes in the hall.
"Yes, sir. On my way now, sir."
"Good. Carry on."
"Aye, sir."
Open the door to the courtroom and...
